A Former Joust Cocktail. Now a Rush N Attack

This is my newest aquisition. A Joust Cocktail Cabinet. Overtime I will be slowly converting this Joust CT back to its former glory.

A close up of the coindoor. Was surprised that it had original art underneath the coindoor. It is one of the many difficult items to replace. Whew!!!

Here it is with most of the laminate removed. The laminate helped preserve the surface the past 20 years. Notice they put it back in upside down.

It was glued in with rubber cement. After an hour of carefully moving the art back and forth, it was freed. Notice that I will also have to replace the coin ejector inserts and platics.

The back of the silkscreen art. BEFORE carefully removing the glue.

The front view of the coindoor art, compared with Joust UR CP.

Closer view to compare the colors, the colors appear to be very close to the CP art.

They drilled two extra holes in the CP...The CP art should be the easy part. Finding mini Joust Joysticks won't be.
